Dr. Douglas Holford is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, arthroscopy, hip and knee reconstruction, and spine surgery.

Dr. Holford attended Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI, where he graduated with honors as a Chemistry major with a minor in Math. He went on to medical school at Loma Linda University Medical School, where he graduated in the upper one-third of his class. Dr. Holford completed a rotating internship with USC-LAC Medical Center in Los Angeles, and a General Surgery internship at U. S. Public Health Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He then completed an Orthopedic Surgery residency at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA, followed by a Spine Surgery fellowship with Henry LaRocca, MD. Finally, he completed a Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy fellowship at Hughston Orthopedic Clinic in Columbus, GA with James R. Andrews, MD.
